F-16C Falcon (Tamiya 1/48)

It has been a long time since my last post , but life is sometimes just too hectic to build models. But I've managed to finish this one off in under 7 months. Tamiya F-16C block 25/32 kit, with some extras: Aires F-16C/D wheel bays (4439), F-16C  cockpit set (4364) and exhaust nozzle. Wheels are resin ones from Wheeliant, missiles, bombs and airbrakes  are from BrassinHGW RBF tags were used to finish the armament. Model was painted with MRP paints, weathered with Ammo products. Base is from Uschi and the APU unit is from Hasegawa.

Markings are from Elite decals, representing F-16 named "Death Dealer" from 17th TFS/363rd operating in Desert Storm in 1991

He-162A-2 Salamander (1/48 Tamiya)

Latest addition to my collection is this tiny He-162A-2 Salamander from Tamiya. I used some additional details, Aires cockpit and wheelbays replaced the kit parts and some photoetched parts from Eduard were also used.
A lot of extra work went into engine detailing, Lead wires and Albion alloys brass tubes were used to enhance the beautiful BMW-002 jet engine. Model was painted with MRP Paints and subtile weathered with Ammo weathering products. Engine latches came from Yahu models. Luftwaffe Pilot figure is from Aerobonus range.

A-7E Corsair with small base

This is Revell repack of ancient Hasegawa kit, with some extras thrown in for a good measure. I've used Aires wheelbays, cockpit and electronic bays, bomb ordnance came from Brassin, Decals are from Aeromaster.  And since the fit was really poor, I have to mention Tamiya poliester putty. I've decided to make small deck base for it, which was made from scratch using Evergreen styrene sheets and profiles. Life rafts are home made 3D printed. Tie downs are from Infiny models, wheel chocks are from Wheeliant. Figures came from Aerobonus and Reedoak. Painted with Mr.Paints, weathered with great Ammo washes.

Su-27 Flanker

Academy oldie goldie in 1/48 scale. With tons of extras, I don't think I'll ever use so much in one kit. I used: Aires cockpit, exhaust nozzles, wheel bays, Brassin wheels and armament, Quickboost nose cone, antennas, Master pitot tube and static dischargers. and some Eduard photo etched parts. Kit has lots of fit issues, sagged wings, tons of putty needed. But at the end, it looks rather nice. Base is from NOY'S miniatures, with Aerobonus figure. Painted mostly with MRP Paints.

Me-262 A-1A Schwalbe (Tamiya 1/48)

In my opinion one of the top 5 scale models to be build. The quality of the kit is just fantastic, but that didn't stop me not to use full Aires detail set (#4222). Aeromaster decals were used to depict me-262 of Jg.7 at Prague Ruzyne airfield in 1945. This model won Gold in Master category at Moson model competition in 2014.
